Murderer on the loose

By Gaurav Parab

An alarm screamed out silently in my numb mind,
All her moves were planned and perfectly timed.
She cornered me to speak about her fatal views,
I knew I was looking at a murderer on the loose.

Slow sweet poison without leaving a trace,
Sharp brown eyes on that unforgettable face,
No point resisting - I begged her for a truce,
Approach with caution- a murderer on the loose.

Told her she was wanted - she quickly understood,
Told her it was criminal to look so evil so good,
She smiled wickedly to tighten the tight noose,
Became another kill for the murderer on the loose.
